These are our first students to earn internationally recognized diving instructor certifications under the agreements between SSI (Scuba School International) and Gedik University’s Underwater Technology Program.

The first students from our Underwater Technology Program to successfully pass the Open Water Instructor exams conducted by SSI on June 14–15, 2025, and earn their certifications have been announced. Our students—Ömer Faruk ŞEKEROĞLU, İzzettin ÖZER, Hikmet Taha DEMİREL, and Abdullah Hamit YAVUZ—will now be able to work as instructors at all SSI diving schools both domestically and internationally. We wish them continued success as they take their first steps toward professional careers in the tourism diving sector from their deep blue offices.
